Patrick Yarborough
Partner
I am passionate about standing up for our clients in technology, real estate, oil-and-gas, medicine, finance, and shipping cases.
Since joining Ben to form Foster Yarborough in 2022, I have achieved remarkable results for our clients, including winning a jury verdict that more than doubled our client's actual damages, a confidential 7-figure international arbitration award, two public multimillion-dollar arbitration awards, seven appeals, two pretrial dismissals, a “walk away” settlement for 11 defendants on the first day of trial, a defense verdict on behalf of three former volunteer directors of a property owners’ association, and "unsubstantiated" findings in multiple internal investigations. I also serve on the Plaintiffs’ Interim Steering Committee of the In re Meta Pixel Tax Filing Cases. As we build our class-action dockets, our team has filed six data-privacy class actions in Texas federal courts this year alone. Additionally, I regularly partner with plaintiffs’ lawyers to collect their Texas state-court judgments, including in a $1 million recovery less than 30 days after entering my appearance in the case.
I cut my teeth at one of the country's premier litigation boutiques, and before that, I clerked for U.S. District Judge Mark E. Fuller for the Middle District of Alabama and Chief Justice Nathan L. Hecht on the Supreme Court of Texas. I earned my law degree from the University of Texas School of Law, where I graduated in the top 10% of my class, earned a spot on The Texas Law Review, and fought for underdog clients in the Supreme Court and Workers’ Rights Clinics.
I am admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Texas. I am also admitted to practice in the state courts of Mississippi, as well as the federal courts of Colorado and Wisconsin.
